Project

After years of hard work, Kacey Boos, the sole owner and practitioner of Shire Acupuncture, was finally ready to start her own practice... but she needed a logo to represent her expertise, her services, and herself.

​

Although the overall vision remained unclear, Kacey first came to me with some particular elements in mind that she knew she wanted to incorporate: textured colors, mountains as a symbol of the Berkshires, and something more personally sentimental.

 

After several drafts and steady communication back and forth, the final product (see below) integrated all of the above. The abstract logo includes a natural yet alluring color scheme, a symmetric arrangement of objects, cardinals in honor of her father who passed in 2015, and five diamonds representing each one of her immediate family members. Kacey's satisfaction with the end result made for as rewarding a project as any I've had to date.
